What is Thymosin Alpha-1?

Thymosin Alpha-1 (Tα1) — sold under the brand name Zadaxin — is a small synthetic peptide made up of 28 amino acids. It is modeled after a hormone naturally produced by the thymus gland, a small organ in the chest that plays a central role in building and training your immune system.[6] In plain terms, think of the thymus as a boot camp for immune cells.
